The video went viral, people tagged Dr. Pepper, and reposted it everywhere. The brand took this as an opportunity to connect with its audience and show it listens to what people enjoy. A jingle that started as a joke ended up in ads with icy Dr. Pepper visuals. This proves music can be the catalyst of advertising, as Sidney Hecker said.
